Sound Art project

The first foley sound that is constructed is the sound of boiling water. In this, my friend Dyanna took a straw and blew air into a cup of normal temperature to make it sound like water is blowing.

The second foley sound is knife chopping some vegetables on a chopping board. This is done by using taking two wooden spatulas on a table, and sliding one spatula onto the other and hitting the table and repeating it in a fast motion.

The next foley sound is chalk writing on chalk board. My friend Nathanial, did this by taking a ring and sliding across on a wooden table in a repeating manner. 

The last foley sound is bone cracking. My friend D'o did this by biting on a piece of spaghetti.

The scene that we have created is an abandoned hospital setting. It is a horror genre. The sounds we hear are footsteps, following that is a door opening. Next is whispers like ghosts. Next, is fast footsteps as in fast walking. Next we hear a little girl talking. Next we hear door closing. Following that, we hear heavy breathing and heart beat, which is a non-diegetic sound. Finally, we hear a whisper.

The second scene we have is an accident that occured when a girl is about to take a shower in her bathtub, but her curling iron falls in the water, which electrocutes her. First we have is a door opening. Next we have is bare footsteps on bathroom tile. Next is bathroom curtain being opened, after that is turning on the water faucet and water running. Next is the actress humming. Next we hear is the curling iron being turned on and sizzling. After that we have is the sound of being electrocuted.
