In this clip, I liked various technical elements. Firstly, we have insert, crane shots, voice overs, and more. In the beginning of the clip, we see an insert of the flickering lights. This grabs the audience attention to let us know that it is sort of eerie or creepy vibes. The background music adds on to the suspense of the clip. I furthermore liked the straight cut on the actress constantly scratching her finger, to her legs shaking. This lets us know that the actress is nervous and potentially has anxiety.
One thing I disliked is the use of type of lighting used. What would be better is if used more of low-key lighting. This would add onto the suspense. Furthermore, the types of characters used, a therapist and someone who is not mentally okay. The low-key lighting would give the audience some sort of creepy vibes. I also did not like the type of cut used when the actress is taking her pills. It is sort of unnecessary.
Overall, this did feel like a movie opener. The ending of the clip leaves us on a cliffhanger on the therapist looking confused and surprised simultaneously. The slow zoom in on the actor's face keeps the audience on the edge of the fence and to find out more. I would suggest adding an establishing shot, this can let us know on where this is taking place, whether it is in an office, the actress's house, or anywhere else.
Star Dust

To start off, this clip consists of low-key lighting. There are certain inserts of the piano, the actor's fingers, and tilts to the actor. All these create dramatic sequences to the clip. Furthermore, there is a tracking shot of the actor walking to his car. The mise en scene is a person wearing a dress shirt and dress pants. There is also a steady cam of the actor walking towards his car. There are furthermore lots of straight cuts. Moreover, there is a diegetic sound of the gun shot as there is an Ariel shot of the car slowly zooming out.
One thing I disliked is that they did not include an establishing shot. I was sort of confused on where this was taking place. It sort of looked like an office building but with piano inside of it. Moreover, that there was not really any dialogues as to who the character really is. Other than that, everything else was good.
Overall, I would not really say that was a movie opener. Mainly because it did not really leave on a cliff hanger. The audience knows that the antagonist harmed and possibly unalived the main character. I would suggest that ones they film the main character inside of his car, then pans to the intruder, it should just leave it off there. That would be a cliffhanger.

I see that there is a close up shot of the actors and actress's legs. There is a diegetic sound of their voices while the camera is still filming the legs. There is a tracking shot of the 3 actors walking through the woods. There is a lot of fade in and fade out transitions. Moreover, there is dialogue. There is also a point of view shot of someone looking as of they are hiding. The background music adds to a creepy vibe of the clip. The lighting is natural lighting.
One thing I disliked is that there was no establishing shot. The audience may know that it takes place around the woods, but still confused on where exactly. Furthermore, when the actor trips on something and they find the neckless, it seems to be daytime, but when they take a closer look in the same shot, it looks to be completely dark outside and night time. I was a bit confused about that.
Overall, I would say that this is a movie opener. The clip consists of a title, it also leaves the audience on a cliff hanger. Even though they find the coordinates in the neckless, they do not show if they found the missing person. I suggest that an establishing shot to be added to remove the confusion of where exactly this clip is taking place.
The Entity After Hours

There are lots of straight cuts. There is a standard focus, focus pull. Moreover, there is wide shot, over the shoulder shot. Mise en scene is black costume to appear mysterious. The lighting is low-key lighting because they are breaking into a school campus. There is moreover background music to give it some sort of creepy vibes. There is also a point of view shot to let the audience know that someone is stalking and looking at them from a distance.
One thing I disliked about this is that the transition is sort of quick with certain scenes. Moreover, that there is no establishing shot to let us know where exactly the setting is in the first scene. Some of the things I would suggest adding are focus pulls to shift focus from one thing to another. I feel like this would sorta explore the person that is sort of stalking or spying the actors and actress.
Overall, I like the video, the credits, the title sequence is good. However, I feel like the title sequence should have been going as the scene plays out rather than in the end. It does not really seem like a movie opening, just feels like an ending to a movie with cliff hanger. If the title sequence were at the beginning of the clip, then the lights go off, that would have felt like a cliff hanger for the audience.

I would like to say that I like the transitions. The camera movements are good too. The acting is great as well. One thing I would change is the orientation of the video. Instead of vertical, I would do it horizontal. The over the shoulder shot, the insert to the phone is a smooth part of it too. Moreover, I would say include an establishing shot. The audience is confused on where exactly this takes place. Also add title sequence of it. After that, it can feel more like a movie opener. Overall, great video.
