Composition

The first composition is the shallow focus. In this shot, it is seen that the background is completely out of focus instead of the actress. The camerawork contributes to the construction of the meaning by exclusively drawing focus on the facial expression made by the actress. It can be seen that the actress is making a shocked and a serious expression.
This is the rule of thirds shot. In this shot it is seen that the actor is looking at a paining. It can also be seen that the painting is covering two thirds of the frame to make it the center focus on the shot. The meaning that the audience can derive from this is how much effort the painter put and how beautiful the painting truly is. It can also be seen the actor is admiring the painting.
This is the deep focus. In this shot, there can be seen three layers of grounds. The foreground, which is the actor and the actress, the middle ground, which is the bookshelf, and the background, which is the door. The meaning of this can be derived by the audience by the facial expressions of the clear focus by the actor and the actress. The actress is making a "What is this guy doing face", with the guy making it seem like he is riding a motorcycle with a clear shot of the middle and background on where they are at. Which is the library.
This is standard focus. In this shot, there is the foreground, which is the actor, the middle ground, which is the big paper stand, and the background, which are the lights, and the wooden door. In this shot, it can be clearly seen the focus is on facial expression of the actor, which is surprised. The meaning that can be derived from this shot by the audience is that the actor is facing epiphany, or a shocking realization.
This is a focus pull. In this shot, it can be seen that the focus is being transitioned from the actress to the actor. The meaning can be derived from this by the audience is how the actress looks at the actor, and once the focus is on the actor, it seems like he is confused as he is looking around his surroundings.
